There's Something about MOM ♥

May is a month where undoubtedly, MOTHERS are the superstars. The lime light is theirs because they're strongly highlighted in this month's print ads and commercials, also in every store's bonanza promo. At work, we have this so-called Mom's Treat as this month's thematic promo. And so on, all these pakulos to make our dearest moms feel extra special and loved. They will always be the ilaw ng tahananbida ng bahay and bida ng buong bayan!!! No wonder, it's hard to argue with a mom cause she could bombard you with a whole lot of ratatattat!!! Bwahahahaha. >:))

You can never fool a mother. The cliche, Mothers know best, is tried and tested throughout the years. Most people had the biggest regrets in their lives, wishing they had listened to their mothers. They're just wise in nature and learn things by instinct and experience. Mother's Day falls on the second Sunday of May. Growing up, I consider Mother's Day a no-other-than-like day of the year. We usually share it with a whole lot of mothers in our Church community where little children tell something bout their moms and sing such lovely songs that touches one's heart and makes all  realize how important and precious these God given creations are. Motherhood is such a sacred responsibility. It is a noble and divine calling. It takes a lot of X factor to be a mother. Can you just imagine all the pain they can bare? Incredible. And their influence is as great and incredible as that. Not everyone knows that they pay the greatest contribution to the world. It's amazing how selfless they are. They make such remarkable sacrifices for their families especially for their children, who means the whole world to them. Despite all the blows and bombs of the wind, they remain to stand still and hopeful. Never will you see them throw a sign of weakness. And if they do, they're able to manage it well. If you're looking for modern day superhero, it would be nice to consider your mom at the top of the list.

Most people say that I have my mom's resemblance. Truth be told, I have to disagree because she's way too beautiful but I sometimes find it flattering though but no, mom's eyes reflect her Chinese roots while mine are deep set (or that's how I'd like to think of it haha). She has a tiny perfect nose that I've always wished I had but I got Dad's. Mom's lips are thin and subtle while mine are fuller. Guess I just had the outer exterior for keeps: her complexion and built, nothing more, nothing less. Rosemarie and I may not be the best of friends. Our personalities are from the polar opposites. We end up arguing almost every single day with the smallest things. "Alarm clock ka ba? Kasi umaga pa lang, ang ingay-ingay mo na." is very much applicable. I could describe her as a 24/7 nagging machine but that'd be unfair cause she still goes to sleep. Haha I kid. She's not perfect but she's everything I need. She's tough and God has always been her foundation, she always seeks to follow His will in every circumstance. She's also the most virtuous woman I've known. She's my beacon of light and hope when things go wrong. I love her beyond words and I know she loves me as much and even more. And aside from my Rosemarie, I have other moms too who took care of me as I grew up and I also felt motherly love overflowing rapidly from their bosom. Couldn't be grateful enough. So to all mothers out there and for all the women who nurtured children as their own, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!
