Dear sanity, I hate to admit that I miss you but truth is, I'm crazy about you so please come back to me!

Days come rushing like pages being flipped through a book and scan through my pages, you'll find it dull and mundane so you choose to drop that book on the floor or maybe use those pages as scratch to spread fire. I've been a home girl--books, movies, TV series (currently addicted to GLEE again, The Glee Project's also fun!), sketches, angry birds, taptap, fruit ninja, and even trying to take videos of myself being insane... LAME! I tried playing the keys again for the nth time but still, not much of a progress. I guess I have to go through 606 tries like Erlich did with the antisyphillis drug or even over a thousand tries like Edison's light bulb. Darn you, ladder of success. Hahaha so you're telling me to practice patience and perseverance over and over again huh? After all, there's no easy way. >:)) *bummer*

So here I am, an Ate (which means the eldest sister) of five siblings. It looks as if I have a big responsibility towards them but most of the time, I act heedless of anything.  But then I wanted to be a "role" model (or that is what I'm expected to do) for them having someone to look up to or follow because I swear, I don't want my piglets to go wandering astray.

I haven't been in touch with them because in my four years in college, I rarely go home since school seems to be far, far, far away and I'm not that kind of kid who's gonna wake up early to commute. Now that I'm home sweet home, it's like I'm part of their daily routine and once they arrive from school, I ask them about their day and we talk. Ohhh, makes me miss school. :(

With my sisters in one of our beach trips this summer. We're going floral. Haha. We have different personalities--from polar opposites of the world but we still get along though. I'm vertically challenged and I'm left as an elf while all their growth hormones will then make them even taller in the years to come.

And here's the youngest and healthiest (a more decent term to describe a butterball! Haha!) among the brady branch! Now I'm his personal tutor. :) He keeps on whining before he finishes what I ask him to but then we crack jokes in between those grade school lessons that's now way too easy for me. Hahaha. See that wall behind him, it's part of our room (the girls' room). My sisters decided to cut out pictures of pretty photoshop girls from magazines. And to my amazement, overrated art's not my style since I'm quite of the minimalist. I don't want waking up seeing numerous faces of wonder freaks so I decided to move to the master's bedroom (with my parents) acting like a real big, old, baby! xD

I'M SO SORRY FOR BLABBING THIS MUCH! Will post something decorous and informative in the next few days when I get my sanity back and when I have the courage to say goodbye to the idle bug!

Ciao lovables!

GOD loves you.

Great things come from small beginnings

What can you see from the picture above?
It's a very tiny seed. And if I happen to hold this little thing in my hand, I might prolly throw it away and react in a manner like, "What's this little piece of crap?!, Ano ba, kuto ba to ng aling hayop?!" But did you know where this tiny seed came from? It's a redwood seed. There are two types, the Coast Redwood, (Sequoia sempervirens) and the Giant Sequioa (Sequoiadendron giganteum). If you have no idea what this is then be amazed and be ready to catch your jaws drop cause it's the world's largest and tallest living thing! That means they are really BIG trees that can grow up to 300 feet tall and 30 feet wide in diameter and live up to 2000 years! You can find these magnificent trees in California. (I got to include that in my bucket list! *fingers crossed* someday!!!) :D

See, how big the tree is in the pictures... My point here is that, sometimes, we're like that tiny seed. We feel like we're nothing at all, worthless. Just a tiny dot in a big world, and in an extremely gigantic universe and how can we actually make a place in the vast infinities? But think of who you really are... Like those redwood seeds, you came from something really BIG. You are a child of God and like you're Father in Heaven, who has created ALL these glory and wonder, you can rise up to your divine potentials! And be like the world's largest and tallest living thing! (Not literally of course!).

You may start to doubt about yourself right now but knowing the fact that you're a BELOVED child of God will make you feel better later on. So drill that in your brain! I felt like a tiny speck of dust lost in oblivion the past week as my self-esteem's going down the drain because I'm bound to do nothing and I was so sick and was forced to self-medicate myself with paracetamols. But then, I got this message during the weekend in those unexpected moments and this was just the exact dose of enlightenment that I need. Don't let anyone put you down, no, no, no, hinding-hindi ka maaring maging walang kwenta. You were born to be someone BIG! You can do GREAT things!  Have faith. Work on it. He loves you so much. He knows you very well, your weaknesses, your strengths, and the desires of your heart and He wants you to be happy! When your will is aligned with God's will, NOTHING IS REALLY IMPOSSIBLE. :)

photos are just from the internet. xD

When boredom sets in, spontaneity happens!

"Taking pleasure on random and unplanned events", that's how Jecjec described it. And yes, it was something that we did out of the blue on a Saturday afternoon. We decided to go out for a swim and nothing's gonna stop us.  I finally had my taste of summer (though it's June already). Sometimes things to go better when they are unplanned. We didn't actually have a lot on our plate, just fruits and toasted mamon and water for our thirst. Seems like we're on diet huh? Haha. I just enjoyed it. It was fun plus, there was really good music in that place that can make you go dancing underwater. If you happen to be a really close friend of mine, you'll find out that I can really be a fish. I love  water! I love swimming! But minus the heat of the sun because that's torture.

Oooohhhh la la la! My girlies! HOT! <3 Hahaha. Cheers to us! And to our future plans! More adventures! :) The last photo below is edited by Sheila.

It's June, baby! Six months more and 2011 is about to be just a memory. So how have you been keeping up?

It's funny when I chose to just stay in my room the whole day to read a book and my mom and sister would react at it negatively and think that I got a problem. They're like, "may problema ka ba?", "bat ka nagmumukmok sa kwarto?" and in my mind, I'm like, "Duh, I'm perfectly fine, I'm just trying to finish a book here." There's really nothing to worry! There's no need for me to be be brought to a psychiatrist or what cause, OKAY LANG TALAGA AKO. :) Maybe normal people do really go out and when I shared this experience to Jazel, she agreed, that normal people really go out and enjoy the sun but hey, it's not fair if you'd think that we're abnormal. We're just SPECIAL, in a way or so. Hahahaha. :)

People are different. Period. Some would prefer to go out partying on a Friday night while some would rather stay home and read a good book. The latter speaks of me. I've been a home buddy most of the time and more of an introvert in my early years in life. I don't go to play with other kids outside because I'm told so. I just stay home and play on my own. I even had imaginary friends! Haha. I don't know, maybe it has something to do with the environment you grew up with but that's just me.

I'm happy that I was able to finish a fiction book after those weeks of trying to indulge in reviewers! Hahaha. More books to go + reviewers (boooo!) Because I preferred to prolong the agony of getting an R.Ph. Oh well!

Btw, I found my favorite blogger! She has a new blog. Her posts are mostly about her trips abroad and her life. I enjoy reading her posts because she's just so real. I love her humor too! INSPIRATION! :) And if I get lucky enough to.... I will share more about her sooooon! Hahahaha. :)
