To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant, and a time to pluck up which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?
I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.

He hath made every thing beautiful in His time, also He hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
- Ecclesiastes 3:1-11

I love those verses from Ecclesiastes. It just explains everything and right now, there are things that I want to be done but then sometimes, we have to be humble enough to know that He has great plans for us, and He knows what's best for us all in His due time.
Trust that God's schedule  for bringing  things to pass is far more accurate than your own timetable. :)

With the patient, Ayan. I’m stuck here in the hospital babysitting my seventeen year old brother who underwent appendectomy. He’s the third one in the family. Dad, Aaron, and now Ayan… All the boys! And they’re telling my ten yr. old brother, Aj might be next! I hope not! It's not hereditary. Ayan’s appendix was 5x the normal. Good thing it did not rapture yet.

Remember those times people ask you what you want to be when you grow up, I’d say “doctor”. That was the conventional answer of kids during my time and that became my dream, and that explains why I took up Pharmacy while my brothers are now taking Architecture and Monica’s going for Interior Design. This doesn’t mean that I’ve lost my artistic side. I missed drawing and painting on canvas and what I’ve been doing lately is face painting, for the love of make-up and fashion! Dress to express! See how Dad is a major influence of his artistic side in the family? :D Every time I visit a hospital and see doctors in their white coats with their stethoscopes hanging on it, I feel like I want to proceed to medicine (or might as well marry a hot doctor someday! HAHA) but I’ve gone careful study regarding myself and the hospital’s just not the workplace for me even for my pharmacy practice. Hee. So you better watch out where I'd be landing someday!

Thanks to wifi. I’m now sipping on mixed berry freeze while waiting for Ayan's vanilla freeze. I also brought books to company me. One’s a novel that I still haven't finished for three months now while the other one’s a reviewer which I plan not to open until the skies turn salmon pink. Hahaha. :D

Models: Micah Alfonso, Etienne Chantal Codina, Chantal Rabanes

Photographer: Monica Posadas
MUA/Stylist: Airi Posadas
Assistant: Christian XD

Beat the summer heat. :D
A few photos from our mini shoot (for amateurs!). It was actually the girls' plan out of boredom and really, something for fun. I just came into the scene to do some styling and make-up. My sister's into photography so be it. Haha. Good job! May she have a bright future ahead of her.

 It's also a nice thing to get to know more of these girls better, they're all bubbly and sweet. I felt like I'm five years younger but still the Ate in the group. Thank you! We can do it again next time.

See the trend these days, where everyone wants to be the model, photographer, and stylist? But well, there's just so much beauty in this world and it's one way of expressing all those creative juices. Girls just wanna have fun! :)

Jubilee Celebration

This year, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is celebrating its 50 years in the Philippines. Last month, Metro Manila stakes celebrated their Jubilee presentation at Araneta Coliseum last April 30, 2011, which was aired throughout the entire Philippines. It was a grand cultural celebration with an enormous number of participants. I really enjoyed it because there were all so bright and beautiful! The costumes, the dances, the songs, the vibrant spirits of the adults, youth, and especially those adorable children, who would happen to shy away or be delightful to see their faces in the big screen. Their energy bubble was infectious that it also filled the hall where we were watching. It was a tremendous and spectacular event which was also followed by a wonderful Special Conference the following day. I loved it!

Last May 14, the rest of the stakes in the Philippines celebrated their own Jubilee and below are some photos from the Cebu Central and Cebu City Stakes' Jubilee Celebration which I am part of. (Now, this was the event I've been talking about last month which I was busy with).

Yay! It was a success! All the preparation was worth it. Awww, it just reminds me of last year's Cultural Celebration during the Cebu Temple Dedication. :') And to end this, here are a few more photos with my favorite friends.

And an incomplete family photo, this is the best that I can show! (My brother, Aaron is serving a full time mission while my little sister, Laura is out already having dinner. Hee!)

It's an amazing thing to be part of this Jubilee celebration! Because the next might be fifty years from now which will already be a centennial one and it's not about the celebration actually, it's those good changes that have been brought to pass in those fifty years. And as we live everyday, lets change and be better than yesterday and continue to be an influence for good in the world. :)
